Vowels
The Norwegian vowels are: a, i, e, o, u, y, å, æ, and ø. They can be either long or short depending
on the location and consonants around them. I will provide both long and short vowel clips with practice words as well.
Long A - like the 'a' in 'fAther' (far, har)
Short A - similar to the 'u' in 'cUt' (natt, katt)
Long I - like the 'ee' in 'mEEt', but more open (blir, tidlig)
Short I - shorter than the 'ee' in 'mEEt' (litt, blitt)

Consonants
Norwegian consonants shouldn't provide too much difficulty. Again, I will get voice clips up ASAP so that you
can hear them. Bear with me for now, though!
